P.J. Keating Company is one of the largest recycle centers in New England, specializing in asphalt and concrete products.
We take existing asphalt material and process it to produce Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP), which is reused in the manufacture of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA).
When blended with gravel-like material, RAP is used as a base material for driveways and sidewalks.
P.J. Keating Company recycles about 200,000 tons of old asphalt pavements into RAP annually.
In addition to using existing asphalt material, we take used concrete products and crush them back into a gravel-type product similar to RAP.
We also process around 35,000 tons of asphalt shingles per year. The shingles are ground into a sand-like material and used in new HMA, as well as base materials.
P.J. Keating Company also offers a 100% recycled material called K RAP Base that is a combination of shingles, RAP and reprocessed concrete, for use as a replacement for gravel-type materials.
