QPR 2000 (Quality Pavement Repair) is a premixed, open graded cold
patch made with 100 percent crushed, washed aggregate and a special
blend of asphalt cements, anti-stripping additives and adhesive
agents.
QPR 2000 is much more effective than traditional cut-back, cold
mixes because of its tenacious binding adhesive. Even when applied
to wet or frozen potholes, QPR 2000 will compact with the back of
a shovel and may then be opened to traffic immediately. The combination
of materials in QPR 2000 resists rutting while providing excellent
bearing strength. Where other cold mix materials may ravel and lift
out because the base asphalt material will not adhere to the aggregate,
or because the cut-back agents enlarge the original hole, QPR 2000
will continue to perform. |
| QPR 2000 can be used in wet and dry conditions
and in temperatures from minus 15 degrees through 100 degrees F. QPR
2000 will adhere to steel, concrete and asphalt surfaces. It is ideal
for utility cuts, railway crossings and, of course, potholes and broken
edges on parking areas, streets and highways. QPR 2000 breathes under
severe freeze/thaw conditions and will heal itself. Stockpile QPR
2000 outdoors, uncovered, for up to two years. |

Asphalt cement strips from the aggregate
when traditional cold mix (left) is immersed in water - QPR 2000
(right) remains coated.
